Reviews

In their own words.

What makes us different

Not all VR darshan is made the same.

  • Shot at the temple, not in a studio

Over 90% is real footage filmed on location — not computer graphics.

  • Aarti from inside the garbhagriha

The view from the sanctum itself, closer than any queue allows.

  • Narrated by Shri Ashutosh Rana

Each yatra is written and told as a story, not merely filmed.

Who we are

Durlabh Darshan is built by TechXR Innovations — a startup founded by IITians in Bhopal.

Our Kendras stand at temple towns across India — Kashi, Ayodhya, Ujjain, Maihar, Haridwar, Katra, Bageshwar Dham.

Devotees kept asking if it could come home. So we brought it.

Questions people ask

What is a VR darshan actually like?

You wear the headset and the place is around you — look up and the shikhara stands above you, turn and the ghats are behind you. Over 90% of what you see is real footage filmed at the temple, not computer graphics, and it includes aarti from inside the garbhagriha, closer than any queue allows. Each yatra is narrated as a story rather than only filmed — Shri Ashutosh Rana tells the Ayodhya yatra.

What happens on the day?

A sevak arrives within your two-hour window, carrying the headset and everything the darshan needs. Before he begins you read him the four-digit code from your booking, which is how you know the right person is at your door. He sets up, each person takes darshan in turn, and he packs everything away before he leaves. Two darshans take about an hour, setting up and putting away included.

Which darshans can I choose from?

Three yatras at present — Shri Ram ki Ayodhya, Char Dham Yatra and Jagannath Yatra — each between twelve and fifteen minutes. You choose the ones you want and they play one after another in the same visit, so a family can take more than one tirth in a single sitting.

Will my elderly parents manage it?

Darshan is taken sitting down, and the sevak stays for the whole visit. The headset can be lifted off at any moment and put back on where it stopped. If it becomes too much, you can stop — nobody is asked to carry on.

What do we need to have ready at home?

Somewhere to sit, and enough room for one person to stand. The sevak brings the headset and everything it runs on. There is nothing to install, no equipment of your own, and nothing to arrange on the day.

Can I change or cancel my visit?

Yes. Tell us at least 24 hours before your window begins and we will move it to another day or time, or cancel it. Inside 24 hours the sevak’s day is already arranged around your visit, so a change may not be possible. The full terms are set out in our Cancellation Policy.
